I am a chartered civil engineer with more than 27 years’ consulting experience in the field of urban development. Drawing on my breadth of experience working for the private, public, academic and not-for-profit sectors I enjoy working independently or with others to develop practical solutions to complex city problems.

My professional track record of working in the field of sustainable development and city resilience in the UK and overseas is complemented by personal qualities of integrity, insight and flexibility. I approach every new challenge with energy and vision and a commitment to work collaboratively with my client to meet his or her needs and aspirations.

My particular area of interest is exploring the inter-dependencies between sustainable transport, behaviour change, built environment, health and wellbeing and future city resilience.
